QUESTION: How far is Woodsong RV Resort from the Twin Cities… and will I feel like I actually escaped?

ANSWER: Short answer: about 75 minutes — but it feels like a world away.

And once you arrive at Woodsong RV Resort, the vibe changes fast:

🌲 42 wooded acres instead of traffic and concrete
🔥 Campfires at every site instead of city lights
🚐 Spacious seasonal RV sites instead of crowded parking lots

It’s one of the reasons many of our seasonal guests say Woodsong is their “weekend cabin without the cabin work.”

QUESTION: Can I bring my dog to Woodsong?

ANSWER: Good news — pets are absolutely welcome at Woodsong RV Resort. In fact, many of our campers consider their dog part of the family, and you’ll see plenty of happy pups enjoying the campground.

We just ask guests to follow a few simple rules so everyone can relax and enjoy their stay:

🐕 Keep pets on a leash when outside your RV
🧹 Clean up after your pet around your site and common areas
🤝 Make sure pets are friendly and not disruptive

Because Woodsong is designed to be a peaceful wooded retreat, pets that are aggressive or repeatedly disturb other guests may not be allowed to stay.

QUESTION: How big are the weekend RV sites at Woodsong? Will my camper and slide-outs fit?

ANSWER: Most weekend sites are approximately:

📏 About 80 feet long
📏 Around 25 feet wide

Each site is a little different. Some sites may be slightly shorter or more narrow depending on the surrounding trees.

To make sure you get the best fit for your rig, we personally assign every weekend site.

When you book, we look at things like:

🚐 the length of your RV or camper
🌲 your site preferences (more shade, closer to amenities, etc.)
🏕 availability that weekend

Then we place you in the best available site for you.

QUESTION: Does Woodsong RV Resort have a swimming pool and hot tub?

ANSWER: Yes — and they’re one of the favorite hangout spots at Woodsong RV Resort.

The resort features a heated swimming pool and an adult-only hot tub, giving guests a great place to relax with family or friends.

Here’s what campers love about the pool area:

🏊 Heated swimming pool
Perfect for hot summer days.

♨️ Adult-only hot tub
A quiet place to relax in the evening.

📶 Strong WiFi around the pool and lodge patio
The WiFi network reaches the pool area, so you can easily scroll Instagram, upload photos, or even film a TikTok without a hitch.

📅 Open during peak summer season
The pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, which lines up with the busiest and warmest part of the camping season.

Many guests end up spending afternoons relaxing by the water before heading back to their site for a campfire under the stars.

Bonus: Weekend campers are welcome, too

If you’re staying at Woodsong for a weekend or nightly visit, you’re encouraged to enjoy the pool, hot tub, and other amenities just like seasonal guests.  Just remember that the hot tub is adult-only.

QUESTION: Is there WiFi at Woodsong RV Resort… or should I bring my own hotspot?

ANSWER: Yes — WiFi is available at Woodsong RV Resort, but the best experience depends on your proximity to the Lodge.

📶 Strongest WiFi Areas

The campground’s open WiFi network works best around:

• the Lodge
• the Lodge patio
• the swimming pool area

Many guests relax in the Adirondack rockers on the Lodge patio, where the signal is strong enough to check email, browse social media, or even work remotely for a bit.

📡 WiFi at Your Campsite

Some campsites may receive the signal, but because the campground sits on 42 wooded acres, connectivity can vary depending on your location.

For the best performance at your site, most campers rely on their personal mobile hotspot.

📱 Best cell service

Verizon provides the strongest service in the area, which helps with streaming, working remotely, or staying connected during your stay.

QUESTION: What amenities does Woodsong RV Resort offer? (And do weekend campers get to use them too?)
